What do you need to start a 'film shoot'?
More information about the basic materials you require are given once you start with the modules, but you will have to buy or find sme materials before you start these modules, in order to achieve a smoother learning and practice schedule.
- a video camera
- a microphone (if the microphone on your camcorder is not effective enough)
- a light source
- a computer with an installed video editing program
- a location
Tip: Remember that you yourself do not need to buy expensive materials: you might be able to borrow materials from your school or even from an associated lending service. Is this not the case, you can raise the issue with senior staff in your institution. If you are really going to integrate your footage in your lessons, the school may be prepared to purchase or rent resources (cameras, lighting, ...).
